Its HERE!!! The Weeknd has finally pushed out his tape, after a long wait. This concludes his trilogy of mixtapes. I honestly think that he didn’t release it till now, due to his label mate and boss Drake, who had an album released in November. This tape fits in the between his previous tapes. Its not quite as good as “House of Balloons”, but its has so more much replay value than “Thursday”. Enjoy.

YouTube sensation and personality, Durand Bernarr (AlcoholHarmony) has bestowed upon us a Christmas gift! He presents to us a long awaited Some Time In December 1987 mixtape of original material since 2009. You can tell he’s grown and matured as an artist as he has toured the globe with the likes of Conya Doss and Erykah Badu. The influence of his travels and growing up are quite apparent in the new material. A word of caution: This is not a mixtape of covers of your favorite’s songs. This is also seemingly experimental in the since that this is a concept project. Bernarr explains that this project tells a coming of age story through harmony. In an age of synthesized music and vapid lyrics, the STID87 tape is surely refreshing.

Emilio Rojas has so much respect from me for being such an underrated rapper. His raps are worded almost so perfectly, its like someone is reading you a story. This is the first single from his debut album “Breaking Point”, landing early next year. Enjoy.

Mystikal is back into the music scene, after being hemmed up for being a sex offender. Now his unique and quite raspy voice has landed him onto Cash Money Records. He hasn’t put out an album in 10 years, this is his first song from C.M.R. and its worth a listen. I would like to a song with just him, I want to hear what he’s been holding back since his jail days. Birdman & Weezy F., IMO ruin this song, only for the fact that I’d rather hear only Mystikal.
