YouTube sensation and personality, Durand Bernarr (AlcoholHarmony) has bestowed upon us a Christmas gift! He presents to us a long awaited Some Time In December 1987 mixtape of original material since 2009. You can tell he’s grown and matured as an artist as he has toured the globe with the likes of Conya Doss and Erykah Badu. The influence of his travels and growing up are quite apparent in the new material. A word of caution: This is not a mixtape of covers of your favorite’s songs. This is also seemingly experimental in the since that this is a concept project. Bernarr explains that this project tells a coming of age story through harmony. In an age of synthesized music and vapid lyrics, the STID87 tape is surely refreshing.
