It has been reported that while M.I.A. was performing at her last US Tour show, the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, she repeatedly said that it was her “last show”. I would like to take the time out to clear this up, if I can. Earlier this month, Perez Hilton had reported that M.I.A.’s United States Visa would be expiring around the last stop for her US Tour. For those of you who don’t know, when her Visa (no not the charge card you rejects!) expires, she may not come back to the US until she is approved for a new Visa which has cause much speculation due to the recent engagement with her new hubby Benjamin Brewer. If she doesn’t renew it, she also can’t marry Benny. Hopefully this has cleared up a little bit of this mess. I don’t think M.I.A. is ready to retire yet. She has too much going for her and for her to retire after her huge success… nope I can’t see it. Besides, she didn’t even call to let a brotha know she would be retiring so fall back with that mess! Girl, you better get yo’ Visa renewed and I mean pronteezy!
